32-04-01-27.1. Advanced esthetician program curriculum. 1. Completion of a board-approved six-hundred-hour fundamental esthetician curriculum, or its substantial equivalent as determined by the board may be used as a prerequisite for enrollment in the advanced esthetics training component of this curriculum. The board may approve partial hours for completion of cosmetology curriculum. 2. A school or licensed instructor may not permit a student to render clinical services related to advanced esthetics procedures until a student has successfully completed the six-hundred- hour fundamental esthetics curriculum component, or its substantial equivalent. 3.
