The board may request the licensee complete a physical health assessment, a behavioral health assessment or both a physical and behavioral health assessment, if the board reasonably believes a massage therapist has a physical or behavioral health condition jeopardizing the health of those who seek massage from the individual. a. The cost of ordered health assessment is the licensee's sole responsibility and the applicant may choose a licensed provider of their own choosing. b.
