61-02-06-01. The input of drug information shall be done by a pharmacist at the central pharmacy or, if entered by the technician at the remote site, must be verified by a pharmacist. a. New prescriptions may be received and entered at the central pharmacy with a label printed at the remote site. b. New prescriptions received at the remote site may be entered into the remote computer system with all verification, interaction checking, and profile review the responsibility of the pharmacist at the central pharmacy.
