67-09-01-02. Construction must be approved by the superintendent of public instruction - Exception. A district may not undertake construction of any school building or facility estimated to cost more than one hundred fifty thousand dollars unless: 1. The construction is approved by the superintendent; or 2. The construction is required as part of a plan to correct deficiencies required under North Dakota Century Code section 15.1-06-09, approved by the state fire marshal, and the estimated cost does not exceed one hundred fifty thousand dollars.
