67-11-24-05. School health technician services. 1. While working in the role of a school health technician, an individual may perform the duties outlined in the required training. 2. While working in the role of a school health technician, an individual shall comply with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act regulations. 3. While working in the role of a school health technician, the individual may not: a. Perform the duties of a school nurse, as set forth in North Dakota Century Code chapter 43-12.1; or b. Perform the duties of an unlicensed assistive person, as set forth in North Dakota Century Code chapter 43-12.1. History: Effective January 1, 2022.
