67-12-01-01. Minimum standards required. Except as specifically provided in this chapter, all public schoolbuses operated in North Dakota must meet the minimum body and chassis standards established or referenced in this chapter. A school may use a multifunction school activity bus as defined by the national highway traffic safety administration ruling 34-03 for purposes that do not include transportation between home and school for students from kindergarten through grade twelve.
