67-12-01-02. National standards adopted. Except as provided in section 67-12-01-03, the body and chassis standards identified in the federal motor vehicle safety standards for schoolbuses, 49 CFR part 571 [as revised through October 1, 2011], are hereby adopted for schoolbuses in this state.
