89-10-01-25. Unattended watercraft. 1. Watercraft may not be left unattended on or moored to sovereign lands for more than twenty-four hours except: a. If moored to authorized docks; or b. If moored to private property above the ordinary high watermark with a restraint that does not cause unreasonable interference with navigation or the public's use of land below the ordinary high watermark. 2. A person who violates this section is guilty of a noncriminal offense and shall pay a fee not to exceed seventy five dollars per day.
