58-02-08-30. Helmet requirements on an off-highway vehicle. An individual under the age of eighteen years may not operate, ride, or otherwise be propelled on an off-highway vehicle unless the person wears a safety helmet meeting United States department of transportation standards. Any person who violates this section is guilty of a class 3 noncriminal offense. History: Effective May 1, 2011.
